Amon reigned only 2 years in Jerusalem. But he did that was evil as did his father Manasseh.
1. Sacrificed “unto all the carved images” and “served them”
2. And his servants “conspired against him, and slew him in his own house”
3. The population had become so corrupted that “the people of the land slew them all that had conspired against the king”
Amon briefly continued the treacherous reign of Manessah and there is no bouquets for him. Amon in no way benefited the “suffering servant” – as a nation and is not remembered.
