Our Evolutionary Bible for Dummies – A World Set Apart – Off this Planet

It is time to launch a counter-offensive against the Creationists and applaud the Ancient’s evolutionary transition in the Testaments.  The Ancient’s never believed in a Creation Theory or sin.

Genesis is certainly a book supporting evolution.  Seven a prime number, that’s not divisible, outlines a pattern, an inheritance, step by step.  The symbol seven reflects society’s stages of growth from the lowest to highest.  This repetition is evident right throughout to the book of Revelation where the call is to “Come out” from all theistic literal deception, the woe of mankind.   We travel an ever divergent path, fossils of the times, from the local, to the establishment of nations and states, and finally end up with a universal apocalypse.  Evolution in every era is always described in seven succinct steps:

The first expressions were in simple numerical symbols.  Repetition of numbers brought increasingly complex connotations.   This initial article largely covers the books of the Old Testament from Genesis to Isaiah/Daniel ending with victory over Babylonian captivity and Grecian expansion of the Post-exilic era, ending with the victory of Judas Maccabees.  The message has never been apprehended by Christianity and to a lesser extent by Judaism.  When comprehension failed it was said to be taken to the Gentiles (Isa. and Paul).   Many NT symbols will become apparent from the OT graphic.  Key symbols only from the very beginning, “let there be Light” are disclosed.   Each symbol evolves and develops through usage and the implications are largely left to the reader to ponder.  All symbols are evolutionary and reveal the applied philosophy of the Ancients.  There is no theory of Creation in these writings.  If you are a traditionalist or orthodox in any regard do not read further.

Part 1 – Evolution – Simple Numerical Symbols from the Beginnings to the Life to Kings

Firstly an introduction precis covering Genesis:

Genesis (Evolution) – The beginning of the creation of words, symbols and metaphors descriptive of the evolutionary process:

  1. Day 1 – Evolution began describing Light out of Darkness – capitals used to describe symbols of Day and Night and the Spirit of Evolution came from the unknowable.
  2. Day 2 – Symbol of Division – All processes have inherent conflict, mostly quite brutal, between this and that way. Evolution requires a comparative advantage to occur, to tip the scales, survival of the fittest.
  3. Day 3 – New shoots emerge. The third day symbol indicates enhancement and change – often referred to as green grass.
  4. Day 4 – Concept, consciousness had evolved over a long duration – the fourth day represents the creation of the ability to conceive physicality.
  5. Day 5 – Positivity combats complacency. Negativity negates. To make life was to be fruitful.   The writers skilfully show this generative trait in a world that was extremely restrictive, masculine, violent and repressive.
  6. Day 6 – Consciousness emerged in mankind (male and female) – mankind had potential to shape, mould and draw out the best. An abundance of examples will soon be given.
  7. Day 7 – God now Rested. The baton had been passed.    Mankind had every tool available to take on this vicarious responsibility.  God not being anthropomorphic could only be envisaged by mankind in likeness to the power of conscious perception.

Initially we will see that the numerals 3 and 7 dominate the symbols.  All symbols are endlessly repeated in various circumstances but all point to their basic outlined characteristic.  Many more symbols emerge out of the oral recollection of key historical points of reflection and again repetitive usage enhances the circumstance.  These symbols are supplemented by each act as we move through the Books of the Testaments.  All symbols are used to substantiate an evolutionary synthesis, the wholeness, evident in the expansion from the local, to national to universal.

Only the major symbols of the Testaments will be canvassed in this article.  For example here are many instances of three and seven being mentioned in multiple ways:

  1. 3 days Symbol (new grass) expansion of new types:

–  “The three branches are three days” – Gen. 40:12

–  “The three baskets are three days” – Gen. 40:18

–  “And he put them all together into ward three days” – Gen. 42:17

–  “We will go three days journey into the wilderness” – Exd. 8:27

–  “on the third day shall be burnt with fire” – Lev. 7:17

– 7 or 7th indicates that the period was not divisible as physical life was perceived as eternal.

  1. The writers perceived God was at Rest and always would be forever at Rest – God had passed the baton to mankind (male and female).  Adam, male and female, representing sentient mankind having a choice to fill the void, or like some, create a divide between the constructive and destructive.  The question was what could result from consciousness.  There was always a physicality but the abundance of abstract had unlimited potential.  The pedagogical had to be tested.  And the result was a mass of symbols to depict evolving psychology, life and governance implemented.

Some of these symbols are listed below showing the source of Type, and I have extended to include Antitype’s and Archetype’s (Revelation) re-application where appropriate and insightful.

  1. 70 Symbol (three score and ten) – representing each individual’s lifetime potential:

Type – reverence for our life span

– “and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days” – Gen. 50:3

– “the loins of Jacob were seventy souls” – Exd. 1:5

– “three score and ten palm trees” – Exd. 15:7

– “and seventy of the elders of Israel” – Exd. 24:1

Antitype Evolution – extending symbols

  • 9:24 – “Seventy weeks are determined” – 70 weeks * 7 = 490 years (day-for-a-year principle). This is a multiplication of 7 and 70, an evolutionary advance to encompass both Pre-exilic and Post-exilic eras – two witnesses.

Archetype Evolution – combining symbols

  • “forty two months” (1260 / 42 = 30 days per month) – Rev. 11:2
  • “a thousand two hundred and three score days” – Rev. 11:3
  • “three days and a half” (half of 7) – Rev. 11:9

42 months = 3.5 years.  3.5 years is half a 7 year period where sacred (1260 days) symbol = secular civil (1260 days) symbol.   A seven year period is 2520 days (30*12*7) with half being 1260 days.  Completion was always based on the 7 symbol.  Completion meant mankind accepted full responsibility.

Mankind having been drawn from the cosmological waters was tasked with establishing a governance of the whole – on dry ground – beyond the Red sea.

 There is a division on the 2nd day in the firmament.   The division represented by Cain and Abel, is also highlighted by the difference between the laws and commandments.  The real Ten Commands are immediately after the ten laws.  They are not hidden for those wanting to find them “ten laws” (Exd. 20) distinguished from the “Ten Commandments” (Exd. 25-27) – evolution at its best: – “make an ark of shittim wood” – Exod. 25:10–22

The writers were carefully pointing out a division in society represented by those who only think traditionally, relying on what is, according to the laws of the day and those who want to mould a higher achievement, relying on what could be, as society progresses upwards.

The Ten Commandments are all to “make” as content was necessary for the temple of the heart and mind, and this is a prerequisite to an evolutionary process after escape from bondage.  Being judgmental is not adequate.  An alternative is a prerequisite for going beyond the cobwebs.  Those not interested in evolution followed purely the strict 10 laws (Adam) out of 635 laws, and were not seduced by Eve, the life-giver.  Sin is not moving on to a higher plane, but the tent needs a carpenter.  It is to be made (made is used 200 times in Genesis and Exodus).  Of this great divide we are all individually made witnesses.

Type                Ritual and ceremonial was their objective world.  Barbaric warriors dominated and life was strictly hierarchical in all aspects.  Everyone learns by associating a known object with ideas, for example light and dark.  With the written word becoming more sophisticated soon animals would portray kings and kingdoms as types proliferated.

Antitype         Repetitive symbols would be used in altering circumstance pointing to a higher climb to elevation.

Archetype      All the symbols are combined in the Book of Revelation when the Jewish nation had experienced three eras of regressive, repressive governance – Pre-exilic, Post-exilic and the third witness of the Hasmoneans, Pharisees and Sadducees.  The nation was seen to have persecuted their population (imposed taxes, enforced enslavement for monumental city building and harbour constructions, forced movement from agricultural subsistence to the cities, starvation), described as a catastrophe, persecution (crucifixion),  denying any chance of resurrection of vox populi, and pending again bonding by a foreign power.

  1. Joseph Symbol (precept for  NT story of Joseph and Mary)

 Type– Characteristics

  • Joseph from Hebrew means increaser.
  • Governor over Egypt – famine – turmoil in governance.
  • Joseph’s coat – coat is symbolic of spot where weight of garment hangs, upon the shoulder. This spot is forerunner of Jesus Christ and the apostles the coat of many colours. Midrash is the foundation stone.

Antitype – of NT Joseph

  • Joseph in NT is a parody of Joseph in OT.
  1. Marah Symbol (precept for NT story of Mary and Joseph)

Type– Characteristics

  • “when they came to Marah…could not drink – for they were bitter” – Exd. 15:23. Mary from Marah means “bitterness in Hebrew – no sustenance, no objective and tied to a life of bondage.
  • “Call me not Naomi, call me Mara (bitter): for the Almighty hath dwelt very bitterly with me. I went out full…brought me home empty” – Ruth 1:20-21
  • In the Testaments there are two virgins – firstly from alma meaning without God (unmarried, concealed from God), and from bethulah (one with God at the times of Hezekiah, Judas Maccabees). And in NT virgin (in Greek, parthenos, “holy”, “sanctified” (equivalent to bethulah), leads to rectitude, as it strengthens and fortifies.
  • “There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David” – Ruth 4:17. The line of David starts here.  Mara’s progeny is set in stone.  The same picture sequence was duplicated in NT times.

  • He led Israel over the Jordan and conquered most of the land and gave inheritance to the tribes of Israel.

  • Jesus in Hebrew is Joshua – Jah saves. Jesus led Israel against the governance of the Pharisees and Sadducees (state-church rule) and re-established a true inheritance – the evolution of the written word – Revelation reveals that Jesus was the words of mankind, called “Word of God”, not a human saviour as such – always words verses the void of anarchy.
  • In reporting the fight against the Pharisees and Sadducees the NT duplicated the types set up in the OT – Joseph, Mara, man child, Joshua, Immanuel (Hezekiah – Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace), twelve tribes…

 Archetype

–   Projects the universal application at the time of the Apocalypse when it is revealed that Jesus Christ is the written “Word of God”, made to fill the contents of the temple of the heart and soul.

–   The “Revelation of Jesus Christ” – Rev. 1, as is stated in Rev. 19:3 “and his name is called, The word of God”, “they were beheaded…for the word of God” – Rev. 20:4.  Read for these words are “true and faithful”. Testify “unto every man that heareth the word” and “if any man take away from the words” – Rev. 22:19 ends the book.  “We preach Christ crucified” never was a one person sacrifice, but community that created a philosophy of words.

–   The book of Revelation was written after the persecution of the Pharisees and Sadducees and the re-establishment of law and order by Peter and James, reflecting Adam.  Creativity, Eve, had been bound by the bands, many times.  Three synoptics were written later to substantiate the story of Paul and John of Patmos – a diatribe against deception, a call to the oeuvre of the populace.  John’s forth gospel de-literalized and restored the message of Paul and John of Patmos.

–   All the books of the NT emerge from the original OT record of Joseph, Mara, the birth of the man child, the Book of Joshua, the story of Immanuel – Prince, Counsellor – Hezekiah who restored – Isa. 42:22, and the anointed one Cyrus, “who did it not for himself”, and so on.

–   In Isaiah we had been told to remember former things, over and over again – precept upon precept – evolution on evolution – former on former – Isa. 41:22, 42:9, 46:9, 48:7.   The same is inferenced by “and none saith, Restore” – Isa. 42:22, ensamples for our admonition.

–   Isa. 59:16 states “And he saw there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor”, and “no form nor comeliness” –Isa. 53:2 and “when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” – Isa. 53:2.   So much for iconic imagery.  There was no Christ person, but Christ is the beauty of written metaphors promulgated by the diversity of the community, and so, in Rev. 13, “his name is called The Word of God” and “I saw no temple therein” – Rev. 21:22 and this is “Faithful and True” – Rev. 19:11 and our heritage – Isa. 54:17, wherever it be, whatever it be.

  1. Virgin Symbol – virgin has different connotations depending on the root – almah – city or state in concealment, unmarried, without God – the unknown or bethulah – separation of city or state from being from God i.e. being with God – the unknown – opposite of almah.

When the city or state is disjointed, concealed or unmarried – almah it is said “Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (with us is God)” – Isa. 7:14   When restoration is achieved it is said “the virgin (bethulah), the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee and laughed thee to score…shaken her head at thee” – Isa. 37:22

In the NT “virgin” is again referring to the state of governance.

Summary of Part 1

Life-giver – Eve – was drawn from the ribs of Adam.  Adam (male and female) represented the beginning of civil governance.  Eve’s femineity portrays the life-force ever-present whether it be subjective, objective or abstractive – whether beneficial or detrimental.

Conflict developed between conscious Cain (possessor) and conscious Abel (shepherd – giver) – the perennial battle of opposites, backwards and forward jostling – enlarged to Shem (renown, repute, productive, maker), versus Hamites (swarthy, dark coloured, unproductive) and Japethite (extender (warrior), fair)  – and then Israel, the then protagonist against warring nations  – the makers (renown) versus the void (warriors), light versus dark.

The creative consciousness was given a new beginning – Mt Ararat (meaning a new creation) – two of very kind, male and female, productiveness floating in ark (sanctuary of written word) above the void depths of the sea where monsters and leviathans lurk.

There was a covenant stretching between the unknown cosmological and dry land – mankind’s potentiality, the new shoots.  This bond cannot ever be broken – one cannot do without the other – ecologically dependent.

Abraham represented the father of all advancement contending with the battle of the kings (depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah).  Abraham had a trial of faithfulness (conscious action) – what should I do, and that is always the question, at this very moment.

Jacob’s dream – ladder stretching from earth (governance – dry land) to the unknown – Jacob’s name was changed to Israel – power between the unnameable was now vicariously held by mankind (facilitating the power of aptitude and recall), recollecting former things, not turning a blind exclusive eye to our cultural inheritance, being inclusive.

This is not the ‘lite’ academic philosophy or Greek philosophy that has drenched our shores and has become deformed Christianity – it was always societal  “governance”, numbers, a phonetic (oral) recall that would be transcribed to words (described as the “Word of God” – the writer’s anointed inkhorn, the resurrected body) – philosophy must characterize governance.

 The Animal Beastly Description of Kings and Kingdoms

Type

The Lion Symbol — King Saul

Saul was described by Daniel as a lion beast.  Daniel 7:4 says, “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given it.”

Saul was a king who had riches.  Saul was polished.  Saul was lifted up, very tall and Saul was given a new heart.  Saul is confirmed as the lion.

 The Bear Symbol — King David

David was described as the bear beast.  Daniel 7:5 says, “And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side (or “raised up one dominion” — see margin notes in KJV), and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it; and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh” (Dan. 7:5).

David was the king who had raised up a dominion, and David held three ribs in his mouth (Moabites, Syrians, Edomites).  David devoured much flesh.  These three witnesses confirm David as the bear.

The Leopard King Symbol — King Solomon

Solomon was described as the leopard beast.  Dan. 7:6 says, the third beast was “like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl”.  Wings, as already stated, indicate wealth. “The beast had also “four heads,” illustrating much wisdom, as, “the wise man’s eyes are in his head” – Eccles. 2:14.

Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and wisdom – “Solomon exceeded…for riches and for wisdom” – 1 Kings 10:23.

The Diverse Beast Symbol — Israel (Ten Tribes) and Judah (Last Seven Kings before Babylonian Captivity)

The Ten Horn Symbol: Tribes of Israel:

– Reuben, Simeon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebuluon,  Ephraim,  Manasseh — Note: Asher, Zubuluon and Manasseh were plucked – moved permanently to Jerusalem

The Seven Heads Symbol: The Little Horn — Judah Kings after Hezekiah (Immanuel) up to Babylonian Captivity:

– Manasseh, Amon, Josiah, Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehioachin, Zedekiah.

Antitype

Written after the book of Revelation the synoptics each detail the oppressive reign of the Pharisees and Sadducees.  The synoptics highlight over and over their administrative errors.  The Pharisees and Sadducees are like the two horned beast of Rev. 13:11, in the apocalyptic era, where all deception ends:

For example, the main emphasis is in the words of Mark are there for us to see:

  • “And they (P & S) were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes” – Mark 1:22
  • “What thing is this? what new doctrine is this?” – Mark 1:27
  • “And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Sabbath day that which is not lawful? … The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath” – Mark 2:24–27
  • “And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him” – Mark 3:6
  • “That seeing they may see, and not perceive” – Mark 4:12
  • “For Herod feared John, knowing he was a just man” – Mark 6:20
  • “Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?” – Mark 7:5
  • “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod” – Mark 8:15
  • “And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him” – Mark 10:2
  • “and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they condemn him to death, and shall deliverer him to the Gentiles” – Mark 10:33
  • “have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner” – Mark 12:10
  • “And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians” – Mark 12:13
  • “Then come unto him the Sadducees … If a man’s brother dies …” – Mark 12:18–19
  • “And they lead Jesus away to the high priest” – Mark 14:53
  • “Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done?” – Mark 15:14

Archetype

The archetype occurs in the apocalyptic age.  The two beasts – the ten horned and seven headed monster is highlighted in Rev. 13:1 and the two horned beast in Rev. 13:11.  John of Patmos surmised that the beasts of modernity would be patterned on the beasts of the past although with different characteristics.  In this era the woman sits on the beast proudly, for the past two thousand years, and without a care so cocky that her doctrines and truths are correct and true, that they are espoused in congress and senate.

But the ten horns turn on the woman and make her “desolate and naked, and burn her with fire.”   The merchants of the earth “weep and mourn after her”.  And in, “one hour so great riches is come to nought”.

John of Patmos’ remarkable vision awaits fulfilment for the “true marriage of the Lamb is come”.  Restoration, after two thousand years of pitched darkness.

Finally Jubilee when Daniel’s Highly Sophisticated Vision is Apprehended  

Type Accumulation to match 490 years (70 weeks Dan: 9:24)

 Jubilee is celebrated after 49 years (7 * 7) as all is fully complete.

This Ancient model shows that also after 7 * 70 or after 490 years all was complete in symbolic terminology.  There was two witnesses, one Pre-exilic and one Post-exilic.  Judas Maccabees great victory allowed old men to sit in the street and sing again a new song.

  1. 483 Years Pre-exilic

The record of the years of reigns in the texts of King and Chronicles ads up to 483 years out of 490 years.  This is Daniel’s most intricate advance of the Ancestor’s tale and shows a pilgrimage to a higher level of DNA and genes.

Let’s count the years of kings recorded from David’s decree to construct the Temple: 49 ( -5) + 17 + 3 + 41 + 25 + 8 + 1 + 6 + 40 + 29 +52 + 16 + 16 + 29 + 55 + 2 + 31 +1/4 + 11 +1/4 + 11 years + 50 years of captivity = 483

The philosophy was understood by Daniel – Dan. 9:22, thanks to Gabriel.  Daniel portrayed the transposition of natural evolvement from local, to national, but he had to complete a 1 week 7 days = 7 years according to day-for-a-year principle = 7 X 360 = 2520 days – to total 490 years.  Daniel knew that the world was round and that the original Ancient philosophy was based on 30 days a month or 360 days a year.  Daniel understood the intercalary adjustment necessary to fully synchronize with the cosmology.  5 months of Gen. 8 had 150 days and twelve represented the diversity of life and the cosmos.  Dividing the year into two equal proportions of 1260 days was stating the civil had to be synchronized with the cosmological.  The divine sacred that was beyond comprehension, and unnameable but civil governance was very real and their protective force.

2.  7 Years Post-exilic – completion of the 490 years model

 Daniel had compiled an amazing colourful histogram in numerical form and entwined it to complete his 70 weeks (490 years) symbol of Dan. 9:24:

1. 2,300 days — “in the midst of the week” — plunder (Dan. 8:14, 9:27)
2. 10 days       — of intense persecution — mourning (1 Macc. 1:54–64)
3. 210 days    — of burying dead — reconstitution (Ezek. 39:12)
Total 2,520 days (2,300 + 10 +210)

The words “midst” at Dan. 8:14 need to be understood from the numerous types already set up. The word “midst” is traced to mean “about”, “among”, and “within”, “part” or “therein”:

  • “in the midst of the Red sea” – Exd. 14:29 – this never meant right in the middle.
  • “in the midst of the seventh day” – Exd. 33:3 – this never meant right in the middle
  • “in the midst of Egypt” – Exd. 24:16-18 – this was a generalized descriptive
  • “midst of the land”- Deut. 19:2 – genalized descriptive
  • “in the midst of Jordan” – Josh. 4:3 – another generalized descriptive

 Final Comment

These written metaphors are all very evolutionary in all aspects of the Ancient’s philosophical insight and well advanced and distinguished from the inferences of all other surrounding cultures.

It is time that the Ancient’s insight is not taken literally but is given reconsideration by believers and non-believers as we walk down a path not many have travelled.
